A Lifetime of Creativity

Since a young age art has been a significant part of Emma's life. After finally learning the craft of animation, she was able to find her calling. Emma Kornegay graduated in December of 2019 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a double major in Kinetic Imaging (Animation, Video, Sound) and Craft & Material Studies (Fiber, Ceramics, Wood, Metal, and Glass).

The programs she mainly uses are  After Effects, Premier, Maya, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, and etc. Works with processes of motion capture, rotoscoping, frame by frame animation, keyframed movements, expressions, and more. The themes in her personal work investigate twisted thoughts, trying to understand the reason we hate ourselves, and the distorted relationship between human, tech, & man.

Emma Kornegay is currently open for commissions and happy to collaborate on projects. Also feel free to ask questions on the process, concepts, or anything else.
